About IB Essentials
IB Essentials is an independent educational publisher offering digital study materials, student workbooks, teacher resources, and related content for use in IB (International Baccalaureate) courses. IB Essentials is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). “IB” and “International Baccalaureate” are registered trademarks of the IBO.
Products and Delivery
All products sold by IB Essentials are digital downloads (PDFs, Word documents, or similar file formats). Upon successful payment, you will receive a download link via email. Download links remain active for 30 days and permit up to five (5) download attempts unless otherwise stated on the product page. If you experience difficulties accessing your download, contact support@ibessentials.com within 30 days of purchase.
At present, most products sold directly through IB Essentials are digital downloads. Certain physical print products may be offered through third-party fulfillment providers such as Amazon KDP or other print-on-demand services. Any applicable shipping, return, or fulfillment terms for physical products will be stated at the point of purchase.
License and Permitted Use
When you purchase a product from IB Essentials, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the material as follows:
Individual purchasers (students, private tutors) may:
- Use the materials for personal study or tutoring of a single student.
- Print one (1) copy for personal use.
- Classroom/institutional purchasers (teachers, schools) may:
- Use materials in a single class or cohort, as defined at the time of purchase.
- Print copies for students enrolled in that class or cohort.
- Display materials via projector or screen in a physical or virtual classroom.
Unauthorized sharing of materials between departments, teachers, campuses, or institutions beyond the licensed scope is prohibited unless covered by an institutional license agreement. Contact us to discuss institutional pricing.
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
- Share, upload, or redistribute digital files on any website, file-sharing platform, group chat, or cloud storage accessible to others outside your licensed use.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any materials.
- Modify or create derivative works for redistribution without written permission.
- Remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution statements.
- Claim authorship or represent IB Essentials materials as your own work.
You may not use IB Essentials materials to train, fine-tune, populate, or improve artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, large language models, or similar technologies without express written permission.
Violation of these terms may result in legal action under applicable intellectual property law.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, designs, text, and compilations created and published by IB Essentials are the exclusive intellectual property of IB Essentials and are protected by United States copyright law and applicable international copyright treaties. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
IB Essentials does not reproduce or adapt original IBO examination papers, official syllabuses, or other IBO-owned materials. Our products are original works created by our team to support student learning.
Accuracy and Educational Use
IB Essentials takes care to produce accurate, high-quality educational materials. However, our products are for educational support only and are not official IBO publications. We do not guarantee specific examination outcomes. Always refer to the official IB syllabus published by the IBO for authoritative curriculum guidance.
We reserve the right to update or revise materials in response to syllabus changes without obligation to provide updated versions to prior purchasers, except where updates are explicitly offered.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our digital products are accessible across commonly used devices and PDF readers, but compatibility may vary depending on user software and hardware configurations.
Payment and Pricing
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but any changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit/debit cards and PayPal via our secure payment processor.
Customers are responsible for any applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, import duties, or local taxes required by their jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IB Essentials shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Austin, Texas, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
